Deaths

Statistics on deaths give you information on the number of deaths registered in New Zealand each year. Along with statistics about births, marriages, civil unions, and divorces, they are often referred to as 'vital statistics'. Vital statistics provide the basic information about the structure of the population and how it changes over time.

Information about deaths includes death rates.
