- Food prices fell 0.7 percent.
- Fruit and vegetable prices fell 8.4 percent.
- Grocery food prices fell 0.1 percent.
- Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.3 percent.
- Non-alcoholic beverage prices rose 1.9 percent.
- Meat, poultry, and fish prices rose 1.8 percent.
From September 2008 to September 2009:
- Food prices increased 3.3 percent.
