In April 2009 compared with March 2009:
- Food prices fell 0.6 percent.
- Fruit and vegetable prices fell 2.0 percent.
- Grocery food prices fell 0.4 percent.
- Meat, poultry and fish prices fell 0.8 percent.
- Non-alcoholic beverages prices fell 0.9 percent.
- Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.4 percent.
From April 2008 to April 2009: - Food prices increased 7.6 percent.
