Statement of Intent 2010–13
The Statement of Intent details:
- the outcomes that Statistics New Zealand aims to achieve for itself and for the Official Statistics System in the medium- to long-term
- the actions that will be taken to achieve those outcomes
- the performance objectives set for our activities.
Briefing to the Incoming Minister: 2008
A briefing was provided to the newly appointed Minister of Statistics, Hon Maurice Williamson, in November 2008.
Statistics New Zealand's Strategic Directions 2002 and Beyond sets out the medium- to long-term directions for Statistics New Zealand.
It also discusses official statistics – what they are, their importance, who provides them and Statistics New Zealand's role within the overall system of official statistics. This plan provided the platform for the development of Statistics New Zealand's 2003 Statement of Intent.
